Jesus and Valentine's Day

Look at John 15:9-17, what are some things that Jesus said about love that stick out the most for you?

Think about your response to this question and use it to answer the questions that follow it: If someone watched you for a whole week, what would they say you loved the most?

What are the things Jesus tells us we are to love the most?

What can we do to make sure those are the things we love the most 168 hours a week?

How can we be God's valentine to others?

Jesus Snapshot

What snapshots would you use to define your life?

Are they the snapshots you would want them to be?

Are they the snapshots that Jesus would want them to be?

When you think about Jesus what snapshot comes to mind, Jesus on the cross, an empty tomb or Him on a throne?

Read Revelation 19:11-16 and see if that is the picture of Jesus you are used to seeing.

Do you see Jesus as the King of Kings?

What do you need to change to let Him be Lord over your life?

-Are you going were God is leading you? If not what is keeping you from following where he leads? If you are going, what steps did you have to take to go?

-Are you growing? What does this growth process look like in your life? If you are not growing what are some things you can do to begin growing more?

-Are you showing? Who in your life needs to hear who Jesus is? How can you show them? How can your church help?

-Are you keeping the main thing, the main thing? How can all of us keep going, growing and showing the main thing in our lives?
